Behind many of our inclusive workplace initiatives at The Fair Co. is Ida, our Client Solutions Manager and a big believer in people‑first work. She works closely with clients to bring people and purpose together, helping shape inclusive job pathways that lead to meaningful, long‑term employment.

Grounded in strong relationships and collaboration, Ida has a real knack for connecting people with the right businesses, programs, projects and funding to turn ideas into sustainable, on the ground initiatives.

Day to day, you’ll find Ida building relationships across the employment and social impact sectors. She keeps a close eye on funding opportunities and changes in government policy, ensuring the work she supports stays current.

Ida came to this work driven by a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Guided by her values, she focuses on practical, inclusive solutions that build on people’s strengths and open doors to new opportunities.

Since joining The Fair Co., one of Ida’s proudest achievements has been becoming part of a values‑driven team. She enjoys collaborating with people who bring diverse skills and perspectives to create lasting social impact through inclusive employment and social procurement. Her role has also taken her regionally, giving her the chance to see first‑hand the fantastic work happening in communities across the state.

Ida believes businesses are at their best when people come first. She understands that life isn’t always linear and that meaningful, sustainable employment happens when organisations focus on what people can do – not what they can’t. This people first mindset shapes everything she does, from partnerships to program design and delivery.

She draws inspiration from those leading the way in social impact – especially those who’ve spent decades championing meaningful change. A recent highlight for Ida was The Fair Co. hosting and collaborating on a Social Procurement Australasia workshop, where the shared experience and values in the room were a powerful reminder of why this work matters.

If The Fair Co. were a band, Ida would be on the drums – something she’s always wanted to learn. And outside of work? Her go‑to karaoke song is Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey – uplifting, hopeful and very on brand.
